Portugese India-Goa. Maria II 1/2 Pardao 1846/5 MS63 PCGS, KM271. A superbly toned and conditionally rare colonial issue valued at 150 Reis. Similar to the example we sold in Sale 3064 (Lot 31138), except that this coin, being struck on somewhat broader flan, is a bit weaker in the centers, though it retains a clearer definition around the legends. Among the finest graded, and sure to spark significant attention.
