Irish Free State Proof Florin (2 Shillings) 1934 PR66 PCGS, Royal mint, KM7, S-6626. Obv. Harp dividing date 19-34. Rev. Salmon with value below. A superior strike, with a light haze of russet toning. The fields are deeply mirrored, with frosted devices, as one would expect of a proof of record. All Proofs of this type, except for the 1928 first-year issue, are extremely rare. No mintages are recorded, but the great rarity is obvious by NGC and PCGS combined having certified only two pieces in Proof. This near-flawless example is the finer of the two.
