Republic 20 Centavos 1922 MS67 NGC, KM571. The absolute finest certified example from either NGC or PCGS--the surfaces of this example are utterly flawless, completely silky in finish with an extremely fine stippling that keeps from looking too granular, yet accentuates every element of the design. The coppery hue of the alloy comes through strong, catching the luster to produce a fully peach hue that is truly delightful. On the reverse, a circular die crack runs the circumference of the inner ring, which, when compared with subtle signs in the fields, makes blatant the highly polished and stressed nature of the dies in producing such a gorgeous specimen.
