Laureate and armored bust right, with palm branch on chest; small cross above. Rev. Crowned imperial double eagle facing, holding scepter and orb; crown above. Though in a details holder due to its planchet flaws, this exceptional piece, with an enchanting tone, sharp strike, and full underlying luster, is as made. Notoriously known for impurities and problems with metal, flaws such as this, though obviously noticeable, are often seen on these types. Scarce in this state, regardless of the holder.
