Nicholas I silver Marriage Rouble 1841 AU Details (Filed Rims) PCGS, St. Petersburg mint, Bit-898 (R1), Sev-3370, Uzd-4193. Issued to commemorate the marriage of Crown Prince Alexander and Princess Maria of Hesse-Darmstadt. Obv. Conjoined busts of Grand Duke Alexander and Maria, left. Rev. Crowned monograms between standing Cupid and Psycho, with date below. The "filed Rims" are very minor and noticeable only with magnification. Well struck, with bold relief and nicely mirrored fields. Only the slightest rubbing is noted on the high points with minor hairlines in the fields. Light russet patina is noted around the devices and the overall appearance is quite pleasing.
