Confederation gold "Fribourg Shooting Festival" 100 Francs 1934-B MS67 Prooflike NGC, Bern mint, KMX-S19, Fr-505. Only 2,000 of these pieces were produced, and of this number the present specimen surely ranks amongst the finest extant. A one-year type struck to commemorate the shooting festival at Fribourg, this specimen features a 19th-century-style soldier standing facing, head turned slightly to the left, resting his hand upon his rifle. Impeccably bright mirror fields topped with frosty devices, a truly stunning piece in its engraving quality and preservation.
