Posthumous issue in the name and types of Alexander III the Great of Macedon, ca. 210-190 BC. Head of Heracles right, wearing lion-skin headdress, paws tied before neck / AΛEΞANΔPOY, Zeus enthroned left, right leg drawn back, feet on ground line, eagle in right hand, scepter in left; star above lion standing left looking back above MI monogram in left field, retrograde ΛE monogram in inner right field, ΦΥ monogram below throne. Price 2179 type, (right field mark retrograde). A well centered example with exceptional style and unusual retrograde field mark - No sold examples found.
