Pedro II wood Pattern 100 Reis 1886 MS65 NGC, KM-Pn158, LMB-E71a. An exceptionally elegant pattern issue struck in wood, and one of the rare circumstances when the application of the term mahogany as a color descriptor is quite apt. Expertly-executed with the wooden planchet exhibiting something of subtle ripple-like appearance to the fields from the grain, and exhibiting something astonishingly like luster for a non-metal flan.
