Another intriguing imitative issue of Frankish Greece with considerable fine style despite a significant die shift that has obscured portions of the legends and is most evident in the "broken" staff held by the Doge and St. Mark, which nevertheless endows it with a one-of-a-kind appeal sure to garner interest from collectors of the Crusader series. Comes with old Sotheby's pedigree.
