Anhalt-Bernburg. Alexius Friedrich Christian 2/3 Taler 1806-HS MS62 NGC, KM72. A highly attractive example of the type featuring the prominent Anhalt motif of a crowned bear patrolling the city ramparts. The fields contain a consider degree of luster and refinement which make the piece most resemble a medal from the obverse. The reverse reveals lovely champagne notes with the only weakness visible at the denomination.
