Saxony. Friedrich August III Proof 3 Mark 1912-E PR66 NGC, Muldenhutten mint, KM1267. Stunningly beautiful and fully deserving of a deep cameo designation (which the coin would likely receive if place in a more modern holder), this blast-white Gem leaves utterly little wanting; the bust appears almost as if made of chiseled marble, the fields entrancing mirrors. To wit, the rims have taken on a pleasing iridescence tending towards amber but intensifying to cobalt at the top of the obverse.
