George IV gold Sovereign 1827 XF Details (Obverse Repaired) NGC, KM696, S-3801. A fairly pleasing example of this scarcer issue that appears to have a faint scratch removed at George's nose. The piece is otherwise untampered with, the majority of the wear confined to the highpoints with considerable definition remaining on almost all of the lions in the royal crest.
