Victoria 6 Pence 1858 MS66+ NGC, KM733.1, S-3908. An absolutely stunning piece to behold, this current finest graded specimen from NGC displays a breathtaking mixture of russet, blue, and green tone over visually flawless, highly lustrous fields that reveal their full pop only when rotated in hand. In addition extremely faint and confined, yet definitive, evidence of a die clash is visible on the reverse when the coin is inverted, tracing out the contour of Victoria's portrait. This same coin previously hammered for $850 in our February Auction #271609 (Lot 36040), and we expect even greatly heights to be possible for its current offering.
