George V Crown 1936 MS62 NGC, KM836. The third lowest-mintage year for the type with just 2,473 pieces produced, this 'posthumous' wreath crown of George V (who died in January 1936) is exceptionally choice for the type. Struck from 50% silver, the present offering displays no signs of verdigris with bright residual luster in the fields and a highly appealing mottled graphite tone. The fields themselves are incredibly satiny, evincing few, if any, marks of any significance and seemingly conservatively graded as such.
