Hyderabad. Mir Mahbub Ali Khan II gold 1/4 Ashrafi AH 1301 (1883/4) MS68 NGC, Haidarabad mint, KM-Y20. A splendid example of the type, seldom found in such a superior level of preservation replete with full die polish lines and unblemished golden color. Concurrently certified the finest at NGC, every wisp and bend of the calligraphy is executed in razor sharp detail as if chiseled in stone. Certainly an ode to the beauty of the Mughal pieces from which this coin draws its inspiration. AGW 0.0817 oz.
