Ottoman Empire. Abdul Hamid II 10 Qirsh AH 1293 Year 11 (1886/7)-W MS66 NGC, Misr mint (in Egypt), KM295. Struck from dies engraved in Berlin. A truly incredible example for the type, currently the finest certified by NGC and ranking a full three grade points above the next highest example--a fact especially stunning when considering that similar issues come highly circulated. A gorgeous iridescence clings to the peripheries while mottled graphite tone fills the fields, which themselves are ignited by resplendent cartwheel luster.
