Tuscany. Ferdinand III (Restored) Lira 1821 MS65 NGC, KM-C57. The current top graded example from NGC, this scarce and remarkably conservative piece manages to pump out a considerable amount of eye-appeal for its lack of ornamentation--ever tussle of the king's hair is fully-defined by glittering white luster and every vein of the leaves on the reverse wreath visible. The flan itself seems to possess an almost radiate finish, bringing the cartwheel effects of the largely blemish-free flan, to complete the pun, full circle.
