Charles III 8 Reales 1773 Mo-FM AU55 NGC, Mexico City mint, KM106.2. Highly appealing for the type, with a light silvery hue to the fields that themselves reveal a light stippling producing a velvet-like texture. A slight imperfection in the flan appears to have produced a line of waviness around Charles' forehead, though this is clearly not a full bend. Similar imperfections in the die have led to a barred look to the I in GRATIA, adding a unique character to the piece.
