Saint John, NB- Bank of New Brunswick $50 Jan. 2, 1906 Ch. # 515-18-14FP; BP Face Proof and Back Proof. An excessively rare bank that we have offered just a few times with this also being our first opportunity to bring a $50 in any format to auction. This institution was not even represented in the massive Flynn Collection that we auctioned in April 2008. The face grades PMG Gem Uncirculated 65 EPQ and the back PMG Choice Uncirculated 64. The usual sign-offs, rubber stampings, and pencil writings of control numbers are observed on both sides of these ABNCo Proofs. There are no known issued notes on this Charlton number.
