France Banque de France 5 Nouveaux Francs 7.2.1963 Pick 141a. A lovely example featuring Victor Hugo. These notes based on the old Francs design but denominated in New Francs after the currency reform were only in circulation for a few years before the name reverted to Francs, with an all new series of notes.
