(German Southwest Africa) Kassenschein 5 Mark 8.8.1914 Pick 1a. A rare issue of five denominations that has had a grand total of a mere nine pieces inspected by PMG. This Imperial Eagle embossed 5 Mark grades PMG Choice Uncirculated 63 and is tied with the finest known of all the denominations. Its only rival is a single 10 Mark also grading PMG 63. Also, we cannot find any previous auction appearances for this issue and that includes both third party graded and raw notes. The Krause reference carries a value of $6,000 in XF, but we will be conservative in our estimate. HID08701242017
