Germany German States Mecklenburg-Strelitz 25 Thaler Courant 1.6.1869 Pick S356. A very appealing locally printed example from the Grand Duchy of Mecklenburg-Strelitz in northern Germany. Embossing is very sharp and heavy on this example. An elusive example in any condition, and especially in Gem condition since the the changeover to Goldmark was very orderly, and the state was well capitalized.
