Great Britain "Charles Skipper & East's Specimens of Postage and Revenue Stamps and Bank Notes" Salesman's Sample Booklet. A salesman's booklet measuring approximately 8.75 by 5.25 inches. London and Paris branches are listed on the cover. The booklet dates back to around the turn of the 20th century as the 49 Great Tower Street address was not occupied by this company until 1894. Face and back designs for seven notes are noticed. Most of the notes are of generic design as there is not an identifying name or location. There are also three pages of stamp designs and the booklet closes with a large purple rosette. This item is not graded, but the spine is tight. Each page has been roulette cancelled with, "Specimen / C. Skipper & East." HID08701242017
