Like other notes of the 1910 series, this example from the National Bank of Australasia is overprinted with the designation of "Australian Note" and features the signatures of Jas R. Collins, Accountant and Geo. T. Allen, Secretary to the Treasury. In 1910, the Commonwealth of Australia Government took over issuing rights of banknotes, and in the next years, banknotes from 17 institutions were purchased by the government and overprinted as Australian Notes.
