Australia Commonwealth of Australia £10 ND (1913-18) Pick 6a R51. The first signature variety with Collins-Allen signature. Carting of wheat in Narwonah, New South Wales is depicted on the back. This example is exceptionally elusive in grades higher than Fine, as it was used as a workhorse note and the highest denomination commonly in circulation. The earlier variety issued until 1918 is even harder to find. A solid and lone PMG graded example, Very Fine 20. Illustrated in both the Renniks guide and the Dauers' book on Australian banknotes. Ex: Dr. Alan Nicholson Collection (Noble 11/95), Lot 1781. From the Drs. Joanne and Edward Dauer Collection of Australian Banknotes HID08701242017
