Ireland Ulster Bank Limited £10 ND (ca. 1920s?) Pick-UNL Essay. The essay shares features of the 1900-1918 issue and the 1920 issue. Your cataloger believes that this note and denomination were probably envisioned as being part of the latter issue (1920). The essay has the same basic vignettes as Pick A133, but the text is slightly different and the two panels of text identifying the branch locations found on the earlier issue have been replaced by decorative panels. The bank note company's imprint, Charles Skipper & East, London, appears just above the bottom margin. This very historic and interesting "Might have been..." note grades PMG Gem Uncirculated 66 EPQ.
