Lao French Protectorate of Laos 1948 Pick UNL ABNCo Proposed Design Specimens Six Examples. An interesting group of proposed designs prepared by the American Bank Note Company. These are all Essays from the ABNCo archives. They never progressed beyond this stage due to the chaotic political and military situations that were occurring in Laos during the 1940s and 50s. These Specimens feature a total of three different temples on their backs with each temple being represented on two denominations. Every piece has the date of "3-19-48" printed in the upper right corner margin. The 50 At and 1 Kip denominations are PMG Gem Uncirculated 66 EPQ. The 5 Kip, 10 Kip, and 20 Kip are PMG Choice Uncirculated 64 EPQ. The 100 Kip is PMG Gem Uncirculated 65 EPQ. From the Feeling Good Collection HID08701242017
