Panama Banco Central de Emission 1 Balboa 1941 Pick 22a. A wonderful example of the "Seven Day Dollar." These notes were authorized by President Arnulfo Arias, who authorized official and private banks to issue their own money, instead of solely relying on US notes and coins (also minted in the United States). He was later deposed in a coup supported by the United States, and all notes of this series were withdrawn and destroyed. These notes were also printed in the United States by the Hamilton Bank Note Company. Excellent colors are seen on this solid and problem free example. PCGS Very Fine 35. HID08701242017
