Philippines Bank of the Philippine Islands 5 Pesos 1.1.1912 Pick 7a. The sole finest example of this always popular 5 Pesos, which is two points higher than the next finest example in the PMG Census. These notes were printed in the United States by the BEP, and served as a model to the reduced size notes which were introduced later in the US. The excellent centering is impeccable, as US notes of this era were often known to be cut with uneven margins. Colors are brilliant as expected. PMG Superb Gem Uncirculated 67 EPQ.
