Rwanda-Burundi Banque Centrale du Ruanda-Urundi 10 Francs ND (1960) Pick 2fp; 2bp Face and Back Proofs. Unlisted in Pick, this pair of proofs was done by TDLR for the first 1960 issue. The face proof has solid zero serial numbers and lacks only the denomination counter at right; the color palette is also different from the production note with the predominant colors being green and pale orange. The back proof, on the other hand, is a faithful copy of the back used in production. Both proofs are mounted on heavy cardstock and grade PCGS Superb Gem New 68PPQ. The only other public auction appearance in recent history was a pair of face and back proofs grading Uncirculated that crossed the auction block for $737 in 2013.
