Grand River, NL- Grand River Pulp & Lumber Co. 10¢ ND (ca. 1900) Ch. UNL Two examples. A lumber cutting scene appears in the central vignette on this (and all other) denominations. The 10¢ denomination is printed on rose colored paper. The company was owned by Nova Scotian investors. It is believed this scrip, printed by T.C. Allen & Co. Stationers Printers etc. Halifax, was issued to the company's workers in the early 1900's. The scrip was redeemable in "goods or currency." Both examples grade PMG Choice Uncirculated 64 with blue or black ink noted in the top margins on both pieces HID08701242017
