Grand River, NL- Grand River Pulp & Lumber Co. 25¢ ND (ca. 1900) Ch. UNL Two examples. The 25¢ denomination is printed on blue paper with a lumber cutting scene appearing in the central vignette on this (and all other) denominations. . The company was owned by Nova Scotian investors and it is believed this scrip, printed by T.C. Allen & Co. Stationers Printers etc. Halifax, was issued to the company's workers in the early 1900's. The scrip was redeemable in "goods or currency." The two examples grade PMG Choice About Uncirculated 58 EPQ and PMG Choice Uncirculated 63. HID08701242017
