Grand River, NL- Grand River Pulp & Lumber Co. 50¢ ND (ca. 1900) Ch. UNL Two examples. Printed on buff paper, the 50¢ denomination features a lumber cutting scene appearing in the central vignette. It is believed this scrip, printed by T.C. Allen & Co. Stationers Printers etc. Halifax, was issued to the company's workers in the early 1900's. The scrip was redeemable in "goods or currency."
