Ethiopia State Bank of Ethiopia 50 Cents ND (ca. 1945) Pick-UNL Unissued Denomination Face and Back Essays. A curious pair of notes that could variously be described as essays, color trials, or unadopted designs. These were apparently notes produced by the Security Bank Note Company when a 50 Cents value was being considered (it was never issued). They are both stamped SPECIMEN but also have color information printed along the upper margin. Neat "could have been" items. Both grade PMG Superb Gem Uncirculated 67 EPQ.
