Mexico Banco de Londres y Mexico 50 Pesos 1.7.1889 Pick S236fp; S236bp face and Back Proofs. The face proof, printed directly on cardstock, shows the portions of the design printed with the black ink plate. As a result the final blue and yellow tinted features are not present. The back proof displays a vibrant dark blue image that is printed on paper which was then mounted to the cardstock. This back proof also served as the sign off document with several signatures dating to 1890. The face proof grades PCGS Choice New 63 with attempted POCs that have not gone through while the back proof grades PCGS Superb Gem New 67PPQ. HID08701242017
