Haile Selassie I, and Empress Waizero Menen, First Freign, 1930-1936. Crowned jugate busts left, "Tekemt 23, 1823 Year of Mercy" in Aamharic above. Reverse; Imperial monogram in circle within trilobe. Struck to commemorate the coronation of Haile Selassie I. Superb specimen. Extremely rare. NGC graded Matte Proof 66.
