Lydia, Saitta. Gallienus. A.D. 253-268. AE 20 (20.20 mm, 4.21 g, 1 h). AV K Π ΔI ΓAΛΛIHNO (sic.), laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Gallienus right seen from behiind / CAITT[H]-NΩN // ЄPMOC, river god Hermos reclining left, holding reed and cornucopia, and resting elbow upon overturned urn from which liquid flows. obv. Cf. SNG Cop 415; Cf. Mionnet IV, 627; Cf. SNG Lewis 1534; rev. Cf. SNG Tuebingen 3764; Cf. Mionnet IV, 621; Cf. SNG Righetti 1070; Cf. Lindgren I 794; obv. . Rough VF, little wear, significant deposits in recesses. Rare.

Appears to be a mule of an earlier reverse used only for Augustas' coins - Tranquillina, Otacillia, Mamaea, etc. Hermos does not seem to appear on the reverses of Augustus' coins. Hyllos is the river-god normally seen on Augustus' coins of Saitta
