IMP TRAIANO AVG GER DAC P M TR P COS VI P P, laureate bust of Trajan right, drapery on left shoulder / S P Q R OPTIMO PRINCIPI, Victory, naked to the waist, standing right, left foot on step(?) and inscribing [DA] / C[I] / CA in three lines on shield attached to palm tree. RIC 287; RSC 425 ( "Victory left" in error). Good VF, dark gray patina shading though multi-colored, particularly on reverse, two significant flan splits.
