Pre-Union crowned cruciform shields, Welsh plumes in angles, seven strings to Irish harp, garter star at centre, date either side of top crown, Latin legend and toothed border surrounding, .MAG: BR: FRA. ET. HIB: REG:, edge inscribed in raised letters of upright orientation to obverse, .+ DECVS. ET. TVTAMEN. ANNO. REGNI. TERTIO, weight 15.00g (Bull 1359 R2; ESC 570; C&R 580 R3; S.3581). Attractively toned, with a few black flecks both sides, otherwise practically extremely fine.
