William IV (1830-37), silver Halfcrown, 1834, engraved by William Wyon, bare head right, W W italic script incuse on truncation, legend GULIELMUS IIII D: G: BRITANNIAR: REX F: D:, toothed border around rim both sides, rev. quartered shield of arms with a crowned escutcheon of the Arms of Hanover, seven strings to Irish harp, within Order of the Garter upon crowned robed mantle, date below ANNO 1834, weight 14.19g (Bull 2478; Davies 323; ESC 662; C&R 1308; S.3834). Attractively toned, extremely fine.
