Anne (1702-14), silver Pre-Union Shilling, 1704, second draped bust left, Latin legend and toothed border surrounding, ANNA. DEI. GRATIA., rev. crowned cruciform Pre-Union shields, six strings to Irish harp, garter star at centre, date either side of top crown, J type 1 and letter O type zero, Latin legend and toothed border surrounding, .MAG BR. FRA ET. HIB REG., weight 6.06g (Bull 1389 R5; ESC 1132 R5; C&R 606 R5; S.3587). Toned, very fine and the hardest type to find in the Shilling series of Queen Anne, still the best example this cataloguer has seen in over 25 years of looking, extremely rare.
