GRATIA., all stops weak, rev. struck from local dies, Post-Union crowned cruciform shields, eight strings to Irish harp, garter star at centre, date either side of top crown, retrograde z type 1 in date, Latin legend and toothed border surrounding, MAG. BRI. FR. ET. HIB. REG., weight 3.04g (Bull 1468 R; ESC 1593 R; C&R 658 R3; S.3621). Toned, a few very light adjustment marks and light hairlines, an appealing very fine and very rare.
