Anne (1702-14), silver Post-Union Sixpence, 1708, Edinburgh Mint, struck from local obverse die, E* below local style draped bust left, Latin legend and toothed border surrounding, ANNA.DEI. GRATIA., rev. Post-Union crowned cruciform shields, six strings to Irish harp, garter star at centre, date either side of top crown, J type 1 in date, Latin legend and toothed border surrounding, MAG. BRI. FR ET. HIB REG., weight 2.98g (Bull 1471 R2; ESC 1593A R2; C&R 660 R3; S.3622). Toned, a few very light adjustment marks and light hairlines mainly on reverse, good very fine and very rare.
