Eadmund (939-946), silver Penny, portrait type, East Anglian style, Moneyer Ergimbalt, crowned and draped bust right to bottom of coin, linear inner circle and legend around, toothed border around rim both sides, legend commences lower left, +EADMVND REX, rev. small cross pattée, linear inner circle and legend around, +ERGIMBALT MONETA, weight 1.55g (N.697; S.1106). Rim a little chipped, dark tone with some flan undulation, consequently some light surface lamination on reverse, otherwise a bold very fine and one of the more unusual moneyer names, rare.
