George II (1727-60), silver Maundy Set, 1737, Fourpence, Threepence, Twopence, Penny, young laureate and draped bust left, Latin legend and toothed border surrounding both sides, GEORGIVS. II. DEI. GRATIA., rev. crowned mark of value, date either side of crown, .MAG. BRI. FR. ET. HIB. REX., weights 1.93g, 1.49g, 1.01g, 0.51g respectively (Bull 1769; ESC 2406; C&R 896; Robinson 203, 204, 205, 206; S.3716). Attractively toned, the Twopence a bold very fine, others extremely fine or better.
