Mary (1553-4), gold Angel, class I, St Michael spearing dragon right, linear circle and Latin legend surrounding with annulet stops both sides, mint mark pomegranate after Queen's name, mARIA:+: D; G; AnG; FRA; Z: hIB; REGIn;, retrograde Z, rev. quartered shield of arms on flat decked ship sailing right, M and rose above shield, Ao DnO; FACTV; EST; ISTVD+ z. EST: mIRABI;z, weight 5.10g (Schneider 713; N.1958; S.2490). Toned, weak at top of obverse with some surface marks, otherwise a bold very fine and rare.
