George III (1760-1820), copper Two Stivers, 1815, laureate and draped bust right, T.W below for engraver Thomas Wyon, legend and raised rim surrounding, GEORGIUS III D: G: BRITANNIARUM REX, rev. elephant left on muddy ground, date below, legend in two lines above, CEYLON / TWO STIVERS, weight 17.74g (Pr.82.1; KM 90). Toned with a few light flecks both sides, a hint of original lustre, extremely fine and rare this well preserved.
