George IV (1820-1830), bronze Medal, formerly known as "The Naval Aid to Greece", 1824, by Benedetto Pistrucci, head of the King left, his hair tied with ribbon, ΓΕΩΡΓΙΟΣ Δ ΜΕΓ ΒΡΕΤ ΒΑΣΥΛΕΥΣ, rev. trident with dolphin to either side, ΑΩ-ΚΔ, 60mm (BHM 1221; Eimer 1171); together with a bronze Medal to mark his death by T W Ingram, head left, GEORGIUS IV DEI GRATIA, rev. allegorical figures in mourning, BORN AUGT. 12 etc., 44mm (BHM 1412). Both medals extremely fine and scarce. (2)
