Italy, Milan, Renovated imperial authority in Italy c.1310-1329, Henry VII of Luxembourg (1310-1313), silver Grosso da 2 Soldi with three saints, Saint Gervasius standing holding sceptre, his left hand raised, to the right, Saint Protasius standing holding cross, vertically downwards hNRIC' IPAT in centre (P with horizontal bar for PER), T between two annulets, rev. St Ambrose nimbate facing seated in bishop's throne, blessing with right hand and holding crosier in left, 4.22g (CNI 1 var.; Verri Coll. 91). Uncirculated, attractive cabinet tone and very rare.
