SASANIAN KINGS. Pērōz (Fīrūz) I. AD 457/9-484. AR Drachm (27mm, 2.63 g, 3h). Type 2. WH (Veh-Andiyōk-Šābuhr) mint. Struck circa AD 458-465. Bust right, wearing mural crown with frontal crescent, korymbos set on crescent, and rear merlon / Fire altar with ribbons; flanked by two attendants; star and crescent flanking flames. SNS type IIa/1c; Sunrise –. VF, lightly toning in devices, slight double strike on obverse, die rust on reverse, off center strike; evidence of mounting on edge.
